The curiosity series is inspired by Lake Austin, the Greenbelt, and the intensity of Austin nightlife. These works explore how external forces such as people, places, ideas, substances can expand your world or completely disorient it. Through shifting blues and greens, the series studies how influence leaves its mark, much like scratched-away layers of paint that reveal both what you tried to remove and what you’re still becoming. It reflects the tension between openness and overwhelm, and the pull toward bold, masculine energy within that exploration.
